The helicopter industry is experiencing a shortage of qualified pilots. Pilots from the Vietnam era, the largest and most experienced group of pilots, are
retiring faster than they can be replaced. In addition, the military offers substantial bonuses to helicopter pilots who extend their contract in an effort
to reduce attrition of helicopter pilots.
In nine to twelve months, you could be working as a helicopter pilot. Our quality instruction, FAA Part 141 approved programs, as well as high-altitude
location will give you an edge over graduates from other schools. Being able to list Mountain/High-Altitude Experience will help guarantee your resume
will stand out from the rest.
Your first job will likely be as a Certified Flight Instructor. Guidance Helicopters, Inc. hires from the top ten percent of our graduating classes. As part of the
Certified Flight Instructor Course, Guidance also provides career counseling, resume writing, and interviewing techniques.
We are proud of our graduate placement statistics and follow our graduatesÅ progress in the industry. This provides a tight network for future graduate placement
