Desktop computer technology has reached a point where a simulator can be provided to each student. This has allowed us to develop a proprietary system called the Professional Aviator Scenario Simulator (PASS). The PASS technology has replaced classroom lecture.
When you are in class, you’ll be applying previously learned information and practicing pilot procedures. The PASS simulator allows the information to actually sink in. It won’t be a “memorize for the test” kind of class. It’ll be the type of class where you actually learn to use information as a helicopter pilot.
The PASS simulators do more than just improve learning in class. They also allow students to learn common pilot tasks and procedures at an extremely low cost - less than 1/6 the normal cost of the actual helicopter. This reduces total flight time in the helicopter and that reduces total cost to the student. By combining the PASS simulation with real helicopter flying, you’ll become a better prepared and confident professional helicopter pilot. Learning improves while costs go down!
